The Route 66 Literacy demonstration is designed to help you understand how Route 66 can help you in your literacy programs. This demo will show you one guided reading lesson and one example of a compare-contrast word study lesson. Included in the demo will be examples of the Teacher Tutor learning supports.

The demo for Route 66 Literacy is a full-featured working demo of the product. There is enough story content in the demo to enable you to use the product with a student for about six weeks. The production version of the product, to be released at a later date will have additional content (stories) and those stories will be updated on a regular basis to keep the stories fresh for your students. Before being given access to the username and password for the demo you will need to answer a few very brief questions which will help Dr. Karen Erickson know what kinds of students and teacher-tutors are using the software. This will help her direct her research on Route 66 Literacy to the right target populations.
