A comprehensive instructional approach: Understanding Route 66 Literacy

For those who are learning to read. Route 66 Literacy is a web-based service that provides literacy instruction for persons (adolescents and adults) with developmental disabilities and/or those who are learning to speak, read, and write English.

For those who are teaching reading. Route 66 is designed to help teachers and non-teachers (volunteers, parents) teach reading and writing.

For those who are looking for real results. Through the provision of high-quality, research-based literacy instruction, Route 66 Literacy will improve literacy skills, leading to better health and employment outcomes.
